Role Title: Administrator

Vhi are hiring for an Administrator for a 12 month FTC contract to provide excellent administration and secretarial support to the Clinical and Non-Clinical Members of Vhi Hospital@Home and Vhi Midwife Support Service.

Role Purpose
  • Provide administrative support as directed.
  • Handle all customer queries and referrals in a timely and professional manner., communicating the need for any follow up to appropriate members of the clinical/management teams. 
  • Process Hospital@Home claims in a timely and accurate manner. 
  • To support the administration requirements of the Vhi Midwife Support Service. 
  • Secretarial support for our senior nurse managers (SNM)and senior management team as & when required. 
  • Production of weekly/monthly patient activity reports. 
  • Allocation of appointments into schedule. 
  • In conjunction with the SNM and the Clinical Care team, assist in developing a record for each individual referred to Vhi Hospital@Home and Midwife Support Service. 
  • Be responsible for maintaining and where necessary updating employee records. 
  • Co-ordinate the nursing and medical rotas.
  • Co-ordinate the allocation of clients to the midwives for monthly registrations. 
  • Co-ordinate all telecommunication requirements for Vhi Hospital@Home and Midwife Support Service.
  • Training of new staff in the use of patient management system & other equipment. 
  • Co-ordinates with management team in relation to commencement of new staff. 
  • Be responsible for keeping patient records both written and electronic secure and in line with company policy and legislative requirements. 
  • Ensure Vhi Hospital@Home and Vhi Midwife Support Service’s databases are accurate, complete and only available to authorised personnel in line with company policy. 
  • Participate at multidisciplinary team meetings. 
  • Ensure all mandatory training is complete and up to date for all teams within H@H & MSS 
  • Undertake such other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the team lead or management team. The foregoing shall not be considered exhaustive.
Education & Experience
  • An aptitude or previous experience in a medical environment 
  • Excellent administrative skills. 
  • Excellent IT Skills.
  • Demonstrated alignment  to Vhi values
