Counter Assistant

O’Sullivan's Pharmacy is recruiting a permanent, part-time over the counter assistant in our Grange store. Cork. This is a part-time permanent role and the person must be available to work during the day all year.

3 days per week

24 hours per week including every second Saturday and possibly one day being 1pm-9pm

Responsibilities Include:

-Contribute to the smooth running of the front of shop (over-the-counter medicine/cosmetic sales and orders)

- Assist customers with queries/concerns and purchases.

Skills / Capabilities Required

- Customer-focused, excellent customer service skills

- Capable of working in a busy environment

- Able to handle pressure

- Multi-tasking abilities

- Excellent attention to detail

- Interpersonal skills

- Approachable, friendly and professional

- Great initiative and strong work ethic

- Knowledge and experience of OTC medicines is preferable but not essential.

Ideal Start Date is September 2025
