Deli Assistant - Part-Time (Weekends)

Deli Assistant required for busy LONDIS Aughrim store, Aughrim, Co. Wicklow.

This is a Part-Time weekend position. Applicant must be available EVERY Saturday and regular Sundays. Position may also include shop floor work with evening hours also available. 

Previous deli/catering/hospitality experience is required and applicants will only be considered with this experience.  

MAIN PURPOSE OF POSITION:

To operate within the Store & Deli efficiently, effectively and hygienically to ensure customer satisfaction at all times with the highest standards of service and products.

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

• Previous experience in retail would be beneficial

• Great customer service skills

• Knowledge in food safety, hygiene and HACCP required

• Customer driven with great communication and interpersonal skills

• Hard-working and flexible, with the ability to work both as part of a team and on own initiative

• Professional & polite manner is essential

• Committed to continually improving department standards with an attention to detail
