Job Description

We are looking for Dental Assistants to join our project in Romania. If you have energy and passion and are looking for an exciting career overseas working as part of a multi-disciplined team, this could be the job for you.

Duties and responsibilities:

The Dental Assistant is responsible for supporting the Dentist in the delivery of a high standard of basic, emergency, and preventative dental care.

· Prepare the patient and assist the Dentist in all clinical procedures and examinations in a timely accurate and safe manner

· Follow best practices to maintain patient confidentiality ensuring that all medical records are properly kept and maintained

· Will decontaminate and sterilize dental equipment as required in line with the relevant SOP and maintain strict infection control standards

· Prepares the consultation rooms, ensuring the rooms are clean, stocked and always ready to accept a patient

· Ensures best practice in line with clinical guidelines and SOPs

· Maintain best practice standards of hygiene and cross-infection control, according to the latest clinical guidelines and policy

· Monitors stock level for material and consumables and liaise with the responsible person on ordering

Qualifications

Qualified Dental Nurse with a minimum of 2 Years post qualification experience

Additional Information

Rotations are typically 8 weeks on duty and 8 weeks off duty. Flights, food and accommodation are provided whilst on duty at the project site.
