We are currently recruiting a number of qualified Masters Dissertation Supervisors to form a panel who can assist our academic staff in supervising Level 9 student dissertations on our MA in Addiction Studies programme.

The Role of the Supervisor

It is the responsibility of the supervisor to provide guidance, instruction, and encouragement in relation to the production of a project or dissertation.  They also should provide critical advice and feedback on the student's research idea, especially highlighting any possible ethical concerns. They should be available to meet their supervisees, for this purpose, during the supervision period.  The post holder will report to an Academic Faculty Manager.

Qualifications required:

Educated to Masters’ level

Desirable:

  • Educated to Level 10

  • Experience with supervising students at Masters level

Other desirable: 

  • 3-5 years teaching experience and assessment design 

  • Have excellent communication skills with a passion for helping students reach their potential 

  • Competent to deliver material in the core areas within the Business disciplines

Compensation
The compensation for this role is €500 per supervision
