Role title


Dublin Station Business Analyst



Your role



Reporting to the Manager - Planning (Dublin), this role will be part of an influential team who drive operational performance through the planning and development of resourcing standards. The role holder will measure, interpret, benchmark, and analyse current terminal operations standards and drive future improvements ultimately leading to managing the integration of the defined standard into the respective areas. Please note that this is a FTC Role. 

  • Develop and manage structured processes to define performance levels and standards for all key operational areas including Pax Services, Cabin Appearance and Baggage Hall & Ramp.
  • Document existing and potential processes / operating models.
  • Lead ongoing research of key operational areas ultimately defining standards and KPI to drive sustained operational excellence.
  • Identify and interpret data trends to translate the data into synthesized, actionable facts and insights relevant per area.
  • Identify areas of improvement through data insights and analytics.
  • Create clear, concise, and comprehensive requirements documentation, (product requirement, functional requirement, etc.) and business cases.
  • End to end project management of smaller projects, including management of scope, budget, time, resources, vendor and support.
  • Drive efficiencies through the implementation of automatic reporting to replace manual reports and processes across Dublin Station Resource Planning.
  • Track & report on the improvements and efficiencies delivered by the Dublin Station Resource Planning Team.
  • Provide support to the 3rd Party Handling Manager to implement & monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of our partner airlines in Dublin.
  • Optimizing Business Processes: By focusing on thorough analyses, the Business Analyst can pinpoint areas for improvement and propose solutions to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance productivity. This optimization leads to better resource utilization to potentially enable us to continue growing with a core consistent staffing number.
  • Provide support and assist the Planning Manager with any other tasks.

 




Your qualifications and key criteria



  • Hold a relevant primary degree (preferably post-graduate qualification) in a relevant field of study.
  • Have at least 3+ years’ experience in an analytics role, dealing with large volumes of diverse data e.g. consumer, transactional or operational data.
  • Experience in the aviation sector is required.
  • Experience and knowledge of strategic analysis models.
  • Passionate about data and using data to drive better business outcomes utilising recognised measurement techniques.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups, handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results that exceed expectations.
  • Knowledge of best practices in passenger experience and ability to drive and implement change in a complex environment.
  • Computer  literate with excellent MC office and advanced Excel (Tableau beneficial).
  • Demonstrated leadership and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and encourage staff.
