Mason Hayes & Curran LLP is a leading Irish law firm based in Dublin with offices in San Francisco, New York and London. We are a business law firm with extensive knowledge and experience in the following sectors: Energy, Technology, Financial Services, Built Environment and Healthcare & Life Sciences.


We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Events Manager to lead the firmโ€™s events programme as part of our dynamic Marketing & Business Development team. This is a senior role suited to someone with a strong track record in professional services marketing, capable of managing high-profile client-facing events, conferences and sponsorship both online and in person.


Key Responsibilities


Strategic Event Leadership

  • Planning and delivery of the firmโ€™s events programme, including conferences, executive roundtables, sponsorship activations and international client events.

  • Manage the full event lifecycle, from concept development and audience targeting to execution and post-event analysis, ensuring alignment with business goals.

  • Define and track success metrics, working in close collaboration with fee earners and the wider BD team to convert event engagement into commercial outcomes.

Budget Management

  • Manage the full events budget, ensuring effective allocation, cost control and demonstrable return on investment.

  • Oversee all supplier relationships and procurement processes to deliver best value for the firm.

  • Work with the Finance team to ensure timely processing and reconciliation of all event-related spend.

Data & Performance Insights

  • Use CRM data and analytics tools to monitor campaign and event performance, inform decision-making and continuously improve targeting.

  • Maintain high standards of data quality and segmentation for tailored communications.

  • Work alongside colleagues in client development and knowledge to optimise content and audience strategy.

Team Development & Collaboration

  • Support and mentor junior members of the marketing team involved in event delivery and client communications.

  • Foster close collaboration with legal and business services colleagues, including Knowledge, Client Services and Design, to ensure high-impact execution and consistency of brand.

  • Contribute to wider departmental planning, innovation and professional development initiatives.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 8 yearsโ€™ experience in events and marketing within a professional services, legal or B2B environment.

  • Demonstrable experience managing senior-level events with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong commercial and strategic mindset, with budget ownership.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Skilled in stakeholder management, CRM platforms, data analysis and digital tools (e.g., Canva, event software, email marketing).

  • Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff is highly desirable.

  • Superior attention to detail.
