The Newtown Park Hotel & Leisure Club have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a fast-paced team in our Leisure Club.


Job Purpose:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Leisure Club Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the leisure club, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all members and guests. 


Key Responsibilities:
Leisure Club Operations:
• Welcome and assist members and guests, ensuring a friendly and professional experience.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and safety of the leisure club facilities, including the pool area, gym, and changing rooms.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure they are in good working order, reporting any issues to management promptly.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including pool and facility regulations.
• Conducting regular water testing as per Leisure Club guidelines.
Customer Service:
• Respond to member and guest inquiries, resolving any issues or concerns efficiently.
• Promote activities, membership options to enhance member engagement.
• Assist with booking and scheduling of swimming lessons or other leisure activities.
Other Duties:
• Participate in team training sessions and maintain up-to-date knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Leisure Club Manager.
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the Leisure Club is to of a high standard.

Qualifications:
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Proactive, professional, and enthusiastic approach to work.
• Basic understanding of health and safety practices.
• Current lifeguard certification is desirable.
• Personal Training Qualification is desirable.
