About the role
We have an immediate vacancy for a proactive and self-motivated Project Support Associate. Working within a client-focused environment in one of Ireland's Top 10 Accountancy Firms, this is an excellent opportunity to join a professional and fast paced team. The successful candidate will join our Tax team to support our management team with both internal and client facing projects. You will also work with other parts of our organisation on firm wide projects and liaise with other RSM firms on specific initiatives. For the successful candidate, we will offer support for continuing relevant education.  

Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the Project Support Associate (PSA) will include;
  • Becomes an expert in the firm's client engagement processes, providing  support to client serving teams as part of client engagement management & onboarding.
  • Works closely with the team to develop and implement client engagement measures.
  • Develops an expert understanding of our internal systems and be the main point of contact for team queries, providing support and guidance on internal systems
  • Supports engagement teams in adopting new technologies and ways of working.
  • Supports the team with proposal development and preparation and business development initiatives.
  • A driver of excellence in document production for engagement delivery.
  • Assists our engagement teams in managing key KPIs on finance management.
  • Supports periodic client satisfaction engagement initiatives.
  • Assists with relevant projects and ad hoc requests.
The person
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

Essential 
  • At least 2 years’ previous relevant experience 
  • Strong team working ability and a positive, enthusiastic attitude
  • No formal qualification required however relevant education history an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail 
  • Comfortable and adaptable approach to using different technology platforms
  • Dynamic problem solver who can initiate & drive change initiatives to enhance our internal processes, particularly leveraging technology where relevant.
  • Strong experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint is essential
  • Ability to remain discreet working with confidential matters 
  • Ability to work co-operatively and effectively within the team and the organisation 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, solve problems, manage and meet the deadlines and maintain a high quality of work

Desirable 
  • Experience in professional services, financial services or similar industry is an advantage
  • Experience with practice management, financial management or ERP software is an advantage
