What you'll do

A collaborative, fast-paced environment focused on continuous improvement and raising the bar on the overall customer experience. Docusign is looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist who is organized, highly motivated and results orientated with excellent attention to detail. In addition, this is a fast-paced role where the ability to work to deadlines, through complexity, with a solutions mindset is critical to success. This role works as a member of the accounting team, on the EMEA payroll team and collaborates closely with HR, Compensation and Benefits, the wider Finance team, and third-party vendors.

This role is an 8 month fixed term contract and reports to the EMEA Payroll Manager in Dublin


Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the payroll processing for Ireland, UK and Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain and France payroll for processing by our outsourced vendor within agreed deadlines
  • Liaise with our payroll vendor in relation to queries
  • Manage the collation and review of payroll data to ensure that all inputs are accurate prior to processing
  • Manage and track salary sacrifice arrangements in EMEA including travel tickets, cycle to work, childcare, pension contributions etc
  • Manage and track changes to Employee standing data in ADP and Workday systems for EMEA
  • Organise and maintain accurate records for all EMEA payrolls processed
  • Prepare monthly EMEA payroll reporting
  • Respond in a timely fashion to payroll related queries from auditors and other internal and external stakeholders
  • Validate and reconcile payroll data as required by the accounting group
  • Perform other assignments and special projects as requested

Job Designation

Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time.

What you bring

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience in processing payroll
  • In-depth knowledge of EMEA payrolls including management of the payroll processing and related reporting/tax/compliance requirements
  • Customer service oriented, discreet, and highly organized with a sharp attention to detail
  • Must be self-motivated, flexible, and able to work under pressure
  • Advanced excel skills required
  • Possess a collaborative work style
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • IPASS or similar qualification preferred
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high volume, high growth, multi-entity public company
  • Degree in business related discipline or Finance/Accounting qualification preferred
  • Experience working with payroll/HR systems
  • Experience working is a SOX controlled environment
  • Stock processing experience RSU, ESPP and ISOs
  • Experience working as part of a geographically dispersed team

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

 

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

 

California: $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary

 

Illinois and Colorado: $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary

 

Washington, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary

 

Washington DC: $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary

 

This role is also eligible for the following:

  • Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
  • Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
