Reports to: Director of Nursing/Assistant Director of Nursing
Summary: Employee is required to direct, administer, and record care given to residents in the facility.

Education: Current license to practice as RN in the state. Experience in long term care preferred.
Language Skills: Be able to read and write and understand the English language. Be able to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one to “resident or resident’s families” and other employees of the organization.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. Sitting is required for documenting information in the medical records. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision.
