We are hiring a Senior RadiographerΒ into our Hospital in Galway, Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Perform all necessary radiographic imaging tests in the diagnostic imaging department, including general radiography, theater, interventional/fluoroscopy radiology, and MRI, CT, and cardiac catheterization labs.
- Uphold the highest standards of patient care by performing clinical imaging when necessary, adhering to best practices, and taking professional responsibility for every facet of your work.
- Continue to provide the Diagnostic Imaging Department with an efficient, high-quality radiography service.
- Participate in the department's radiography rota and exhibit flexibility in response to the different shift patterns and service requirements.
- As needed, take part in an on-call schedule.
- Intravenous cannulation is performed.
- Keep all records, including log books, quality assurance records, staff training records, and patient information, in compliance with hospital policy, including data protection.
Requirements
- A Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Radiographer or its Equivalent A Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Radiography or a College of Radiographers Diploma or its equivalent
- It is preferred to have a postgraduate degree.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Three years or more after graduation as a senior radiographer
