JOB DESCRIPTION:
Key duties include but are not limited to:
- Working with and supervising a team of industrial operatives carrying to out site-specific cleaning tasks as per specifications supplied, instructions from the Operations Coordinator or designated person to include but not limited to:
- deep cleaning of facilities
- carpet cleaning
- window cleaning (traditional & polewash)
- catering areas deep cleaning
- bio-hazard cleaning
- working at height
- external work
- pressure washing
- Reporting to The Operations Manager and liaising with The Operations Coordinator or designated person for the completion of work on a day-to-day basis.
- Completing assigned industrial work at our clients’ sites to the highest standards.
- Liaising with clients to ensure completion of work.
- Supervising and working along the operations staff to ensure the completion of work satisfactorily.
- Completing appropriate paperwork
- Complying with Health and Safety requirements both on client site and company premises.
- Supervising all staff with regard to work standards, dress code, conduct and behaviour.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
The ideal candidate must have:
- Excellent command of English, written and spoken.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Be a team player and have the ability to supervise a crew of operatives on site.
- Ability to prioritize workloadand manage their own and crew’s time efficiently.
- Impeccable attention to detail.
- Excellent personal presentation.
- Ability to work on own initiative and be a confident and calm person.
EXPERIENCE:
- Industry experience and knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and methods are essential.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Industry.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Hours: Night shift 8.00 pm to 6.30 am Monday to Thursday (4 x 10 hours shifts), 40 hours per week; flexibility will be required on occasion. Nationwide travel will be required on occasion; overtime is available if desired.
Holidays:20 days per annum or 8% of hours worked.
Appraisal:Annual performance appraisal conducted with Industrial Manager.
Probationary Period:Probationary period of 6 months, after which time performance will be reviewed annually.
Rate:€17.00 hourly rate of pay along with a 15% night time premium of €2.55 per hour (Total €19.55 per hour). The base pay will go up to 18.00 upon successful completion of probation period. - 40 hours, up to 46 hours flat rate; over 46 hours overtime at 1.25 rate.
