We are currently hiring a Senior Respiratory Physiologist<\/b> to join a hospital in Dublin, Ireland.<\/span>
<\/p>

Responsibilities<\/span>
<\/p>

• Conduct and analyse full polysomnography sleep studies and CPAP titration studies in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Maintain a thorough understanding of respiratory diagnostic procedures, ensuring accurate measurements and interpretation of results.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Train, mentor, and supervise junior staff members within the department.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Communicate effectively with consultants, general practitioners (GPs), and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care and clinical requirements.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Ensure the timely completion, analysis, and reporting of patient diagnostic procedures.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Maintain accurate and up\-to\-date departmental records and documentation.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Build and maintain professional and respectful relationships with patients and hospital departments.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Order, manage, and store medical supplies in line with organisational policies.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Stay updated on the latest developments and advancements in respiratory physiology.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Continuously enhance professional knowledge and skills as medical technologies and procedures evolve.<\/span>

• Attend departmental and hospital meetings as required.<\/span>

  Requirements<\/h3>

  • ·<\/span><\/span>        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Degree in <\/span><\/span>Clinical Physiology \/ Clinical Measurement Science<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b> from <\/span><\/span>Technological University Dublin<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>,
    <\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • ·<\/span><\/span>        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>M.P.P.M – Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b> from <\/span><\/span>Technological University Dublin<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>,
    <\/span><\/span>         or<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b> an <\/span><\/span>equivalent recognised qualification<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • ·<\/span><\/span>        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Minimum of three years of relevant post\-qualification experience<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul>
    • ·<\/span><\/span>        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Strong <\/span><\/span>knowledge and practical experience in respiratory testing and sleep studies<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul>
