Social Care Worker -Respite Services -Specified Purpose Contract

Key Responsibilities<\/b>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

• Deliver high\-quality, person\-centred care and support to adults with intellectual disabilities<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Support individuals with daily living skills, personal development, and social inclusion<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Promote independence, choice, dignity, and quality of life<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Encourage community participation and meaningful activities<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Work collaboratively as part of a professional multidisciplinary residential team<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Ensure care and services are delivered in line with HIQA Standards, organisational policies, and best practice<\/span>

  Requirements<\/h3>

  CORU registration as a Social Care Worker (essential)
  <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  QQI Level 7 or Level 8 Degree in Social Care or a related discipline, and\/or significant relevant experience leading to CORU registration
  <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  Full, clean manual driving licence (essential)
  <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  Previous experience working in disability services and\/or residential care settings
  <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  Sound knowledge of HIQA Standards and regulatory requirements
  <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
  <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>
